Australian-born pianist Meg Morley launches her debut solo release, Through the Hours, featuring five original compositions inspired by her time living in London and drawing on her training as both a classical pianist and improviser.

Original music for her upcoming trio album will also be featured in the second half, with Richard Sadler on double bass and Emiliano Caroselli on drums.
Meg Morley is an Australian-born improvising pianist and composer living in London. She is currently a full-time musician with English National Ballet School and plays for various dance institutions (Rambert Company, Matthew Bourne at Sadler's Wells).
Meg has performed in various settings with some of UK's top musicians (Tina May, Louise Bartle from Bloc Party); improvised scores for various film festivals (Birmingham's Flatpack, Italy's Pordenone Silent Film Festival) and has composed music for various collaborations (London Contemporary Ballet Theatre, MIA Panboola). She is excited to launch her debut solo piano release, Through the Hours, at 1901 Arts Club.
