We are looking for
semi-professional / professional musicians to help us with
London Open House at 1901 Arts Club on
Saturday 18th September 2010.
This is the second time we are taking part in the capital’s largest architectural festival. Last year more than 200 people visited us and enjoyed hourly tours and mini concerts performed by Alexandra Dariescu and Nicholas Burns.
We will again offer hourly tours between 10am and 5pm (last tour starts 4pm). We want to include a 5-10 min performance as part of each tour (the Club boasts a C-type Steinway grand piano).
In keeping with the London Open House weekend ethos the tours are free and so we can offer no performance fee but we would like to provide you with lunch, refreshments and a voucher for some rehearsal time. You can also use the time for introducing your up-coming concerts or trying new repertoire for our friendly guests.
So, if you, or your ensemble, are interested in this opportunity please send your CV to us by 22nd August 2010 via email or post.

The
eagle-eyed amongst you may have spotted the beautiful interiors of
1901 Arts Club on ITV's recent Popstar to
Operastar.
1901 Arts Club was one of the venues used by the Popstars (Darius Campbell, Marcella Detroit, Alex James, Danny Jones, Kym Marsh, Bernie Nolan, Jimmy Osmond and Vanessa White) for coaching sessions with their mentors, mezzo soprano Katherine Jenkins and international tenor Rolando Villazón.
The series concluded with the grand final between Bernie Nolan and Darius Campbell (pictured with their mentors) on 19th February 2010. Congratulations to Darius Campbell on his win.
Please contact us if you are interested in using the Club for your own filming work, or liaise with our filming agency Amazing Space to discuss your requirements.
