BAROQUE ENCOUNTER TRIO
Glenn
Kesby counter tenor
Claire Williams piano

From beautiful and delicate to steadfast and timeless, the
aromatic to images of rebirth, various flora have been used as
metaphors in poetry, art and music for centuries. The recital
highlights how different composers have chosen to depict flora in
music to create moods, arouse images and express love.

Beautiful and wonderfully varied music is drawn from Arne,
Couperin, Van Eyck, Hasse, Handel and Pepusch's spring cantata
'Fragrant Flora'.

Glenn, Lauren and Claire have performed in venues ranging from
the intimacy of the Handel House Museum (seating 25 people) to the
expansive Fairfield Halls (filled to capacity with 1,600 people),
and from London churches to the Chelsea Festival and the National
Portrait Gallery. Their respective performances have taken
them around the UK, Europe and to Australia. <a href=
