Andhika PatrickAndhika began her music journey at 4 years old and after winning competitions in Asia and South-East Asia; she was offered a place to study with a Juilliard piano professor at Monash School of Music (Australia) where she graduated a Master of Music in piano performance (1st class honours).
Her performance experience includes masterclasses, concerts solo or with orchestra in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Singapore, Salzburg, Munich, Oxford and many others. Her extensive solo repertoire includes Bach Chromatic Fantaisie and Fugue, Beethoven "Appassionata", Chopin Ballades and Etudes, Liszt Transcedental Etudes, Liszt Mephisto Waltz, Debussy L'Isle Joyeuse and Etudes, Ravel La Valse (solo piano), Strauss/ Schulz Evler Blue Danube, and Godowsky transcriptions including the virtuosic Die Fledermaus. Concerti experience includes Chopin No.1, Saint-Saëns No.2, Beethoven No.5, Grieg No.1, Rachmaninoff No.2 and Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Ravel Left Hand Concerto and many others. In late 2020-2021 during the Pandemic she immersed herself into studying two virtuosic works by Debussy (L'Isle Joyeuse) and Ravel (La Valse) under the tutelage of Graham Fitch (UK), and received lessons from Dr Mok (USA). Both pianists have lineage to the French composers Debussy and Ravel. This project was then released into a CD entitled "The French Connection", recorded in Zurich, produced by Graham Fitch, and released by Sheva (UK) - Naxos (USA) in May 2022. Her performance commitments in 2023 include ABC/Iwaki Auditorium Melbourne (January), London (February), Germany (February), Melbourne Recital Hall (April) and several other solo and duet performances in Melbourne and Victoria for Guide Dogs Australia. Her videos and posts have been viewed millions of times on her social media account. Her instagram account has over 50K active followers which keeps her online and offline studio busy with requests for teaching from all corners of the world. |
