A special programme of music from Latin America played by Venezuelan pianist Clara Rodriguez who has been hailed by the BBC as “The Queen of Latin American Piano Repertoire”
Rarely heard musical gems will make this an uplifting summer evening with colourful pieces from Venezuela, Mexico, Brazil, Cuba and Argentina. Lyricism, virtuosity, varied syncopated rhythms from composers such as Carlos Jobim, Simón Díaz, Moisés Moleiro, Prisca Dávila, Luisa Elena Paesano, and the premiére of Clara’s own composition to accompany the tasting notes of a unique, Venezuelan beverage, composed in tandem with Leonardo and Jean-Luc Muller to the Sonic Seasoning findings of expert, Oxford University Professor Charles Spence, “The Chancellor’s Treasured Notes”
