Hattori Foundation logo
The Hattori Foundation was established as an Educational Trust by the Hattori Family and granted charity status in 1992.

The aim of the Foundation in the field of music is to encourage and assist exceptionally talented young instrumental soloists or chamber ensembles who are British Nationals or resident in the UK and whose talent and achievements give promise of an international career.

Helena Ricci

Helena's website
Creatively forging her path as a visionary classical musician, Helena Ricci is a harpist praised for her innovative programming, expressive, dynamic playing and captivating stage presence.  Through her MUSILUX project merging classical music with live projections and visual art, she is working on creating mesmerising immersive concert experiences.
 
This season Helena is a City Music Foundation, DEBUT Horizon and Stoller Hall Emerging Artist, as well as a Hattori Foundation Senior Awardee.  She is an alumna of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama where she studied with Imogen Barford.  She took part in the Encuentro de Santander, Philharmonie der Animato, Britten-Pears Young Artist, MDW Tuning In and Guildhall Creative Entrepreneurs programmes.

Cultivating a strong interest in photography, her winning film for Brian and Roger Eno’s “Cerulean Blue” was released on the Deutsche Grammophon’s YouTube channel as its official music video.
