Pianist and composer Alberto L. Ferro presents his latest album for piano solo "North of the River", a collection of new works where composition meets improvisation.
Emerging from his classical and jazz background Ferro's music explores the poetic and lyrical corners of modern expressivity.
His creative influences span from jazz, rock to early Baroque and Contemporary Art music: the piano becomes the channel for immediacy and intense communication.
Alberto is a pianist, composer and improviser.
Born in Italy, he has performed in Europe, U.S. and Australia: he holds a Conservatory Degree from Milan and a Master’s Degree in Music and Piano Performance.
Currently teaching for the London Contemporary School of Piano, he specializes in developing creativity and improvisation.
“North of the River” is his 2nd album.
