This performance forms part of the Hattori Foundation early evening concert series. This is a very friendly series, in true Salon-style, where guests are invited to enjoy a pre-concert drink included in the ticket price, a one-hour performance (without interval) and then meet the performers and Trustees in the Club's bar after each recital for complimentary refreshments.

The Hattori Foundation was established as an Educational Trust by the Hattori Family and granted charity status in 1992.
The aim of the Foundation in the field of music is to encourage and assist exceptionally talented young instrumental soloists or chamber ensembles who are British Nationals or resident in the UK and whose talent and achievements give promise of an international career. |

Kosuke started playing the clarinet at the age of 13.
Kosuke attended Kusatsu international music festival in 2019 and 2022 and got the Akira Nishimura Music Director Prize which is given for talented students. On August of 2022, Kosuke had a joint concert with Prof Michael Collins and Prof Noriko Ogawa at Yamaha Ginza hall. Now Kosuke is studying at Guildhall as master Orchestral Artistry(OA) course student with full scholarship which is kindly supported by including London Symphony Orchestra. He is also kindly supported by the Hattori Foundation and Drake Calleja Music Trust. Kosuke have been invited for Taipei Music Festival 2023 as full scholarship and Pacific Music Festival 2024 in Sapporo. Kosuke have been exceptionally invited to fellowship position at NHK symphony Orchestra and now perform with them regularly in Tokyo and around all Japan.He has been playing at prestigious places such as Barbican Hall, Wigmore Hall, NHK hall in Tokyo, Suntory Hall in Tokyo. Kosuke studies with Michael Collins, Joy Farrall, and James Burke. Kosuke was finalist of prestigious Guildhall Gold Medal and will perform Copland Clarinet Concerto with Orchestra in Barbican Hall, London and many other awards winner. |
