The Lonarc Oboe Trio was first formed in 1991 with Joseph Sanders, Judy Proctor and James Horan.
In order to offer a more varied repertoire for our concerts James started to compose his arrangements for Oboe Trio - as such following directly in the footsteps of fellow 18th century oboists Went and Triebensee. In 1999, James was appointed Principal Cor Anglais with BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and Owen Dennis joined the Trio in 2007. The Trio members are all graduates of the Royal Academy of Music in London and are all experienced freelance orchestral players who all play on Marigaux instruments. |
