Noted for a vocal delivery that is, "forceful, with a high register that sounds like Arthur Blythe, a low range that booms out like Armstrong’s", vocalist Sophie Dunér makes her 1901 Arts Club debut with “nuclear reactor” pianist Jonathan Powell in a unique programme of six works by the influential late-20th century composers Morton Feldman and Karlheinz Stockhausen.

Jonathan PowellJonathan Powell’s recent activities include the world première recording of rediscovered Jewish Czech composer Hans Winterberg’s 1st Piano Concerto, with the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra under Johannes Kalitzke.
