Maya Keys is an American rising star flautist, known for her captivating performances and innovative musical approach. After spending seven years in Paris, she is now set to debut her first musical project in London. Her remarkable achievements include her orchestral debut with the Chineke! Junior Orchestra during its European Tour at the prestigious Lucerne Festival at KKL Luzern, as well as notable performances at the Konzerthaus for Young Euro Classic and the Concertgebouw. Maya also made her professional flute solo debut under the BLIM Mentor Programme at Morley College’s Waterloo Centre as part of its celebrated Jazz Concert Series. She holds dual Bachelor’s degrees, one in Musicology from Sorbonne University and another in flute performance from the Conservatoire Issy-les-Moulineaux, where she studied with the esteemed Mihi Kim. Throughout her career, Maya has collaborated with various Parisian orchestras, including the Etesias Orchestra and Les Deconcertants Orchestra, and has been recognized in several flute competitions, notably earning 2nd prize in the Perfectionnement Division at the April 2024 Vanves Flute Competition. A former mentee of the National Flute Association’s Young Artist Mentorship Program, she is also a proud recipient of the Congressional Black Caucus Performing Arts Scholarship. Maya has honed her craft through masterclasses with renowned flautists like Eric Lamb, Sergio Pallotelli, Gareth McLearnon, Paul Edmund-Davies, and Sir James Galway. With her talent and dedication, Maya is poised to make a significant mark in the world of music. She has done engagements for world leaders, including Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States.
Xinyi Wu is a London-based Chinese harpist currently pursuing her Master’s degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, having previously graduated with First Class Honours. She studies with Gabriella Dall’Olio, Frances Kelly, and Aileen Henry, and her studies have been supported by the GREAT Scholarship, Montague Cleeve Scholarship, and Trinity Laban scholarships. Her performance experience spans orchestral and solo work in the UK. She has worked on orchestral projects alongside musicians from the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and the Welsh National Opera, including work under the baton of Tomáš Hanus. Her engagements have included performances for UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, British Council, and Beijing Government representatives.
David Harrod
David Harrod, having self-taught musical training, has extensive experience in classical, jazz, and cabaret music. He regularly accompanies recitals throughout London, including Cliveden House and Wigmore Hall, and Oxford and has also performed in cabaret shows such as the Pheasantry and Crazy Coq.
Adam Palczewski is a versatile musician with an impressive background in the music scene. He graduated from Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, where he studied classical trumpet, and from the legendary Jazz Department at Bednarska. He continued his musical education at the Paris Conservatoire in the masterclass of Guy Touvron. Later, he honed his skills through workshops with outstanding American jazz and orchestral trumpeters such as Terence Blanchard, Christopher Martin (New York Philharmonic), and Mark Ridenour (Chicago Symphony Orchestra). He began his professional career at the age of 19 in a full-time position in the Polish Radio Orchestra. He has collaborated with renowned ensembles such as Sinfonia Varsovia and the National Philharmonic. He was also a member of the original lineup of the Radio Jazz Big Band at the legendary Akwarium club. Adam has performed numerous solo concerts across Poland with various philharmonic orchestras, featuring works for baroque trumpet. For the past 20 years, he has lived in London, where he is actively involved in the local jazz and entertainment scene as a session musician. He has worked with many ensembles, including Hackney Colliery Brass Band, Mojo Big Band, Kix Big Band, John Ongom Big Band, Regent Brass, and London Metropolitan Brass. Most recently, he recorded an EP with MOJO at the legendary Abbey Road Studios. Adam is also the leader of the Babel Brass Band, one of the UK’s leading brass bands blending jazz, pop, and hip-hop. With this group, he has performed over 150 shows across the UK and Ireland at numerous festivals, including Camp Bestival, Boardmasters, Brighton Fringe, Alexandra Palace, Islander Festival, Isle of Wight Rhythm Tree, Meatopia Festival, Spraoi, All Points East Festival, Ally Pally, Sparkle in the Park, London Remixed Festival, and Altogether Now.
Michaias Berlouis is a 27-year-old musician who enjoys working in a variety of musical settings. In the field of classical music, Michaias has worked with orchestras such as the Ulster, Bournemouth, and Chineke! Orchestras, alongside Shadwell Opera and the Royal Ballet Sinfonia. In the world of jazz, he has performed with Sticky Wicket & His Swing Orchestra, the Olivia Murphy Jazz Orchestra, and the National Youth Jazz Orchestra. As a community musician, Michaias has had the privilege of working with organizations such as Wigmore Hall, London Sinfonietta, Music at Oxford, and MishMash Productions. He has also enjoyed working as a teacher with Hackney Music Development Trust and Ghetto Classics Kenya. Michaias additionally enjoys playing solo recitals and has performed with American pianist Edward Leung at the Foundling Museum and at Wigmore Hall as part of the ‘Wigmore Sessions.’ Born in London of both Seychellois and Trinidadian heritage, Michaias grew up in Northamptonshire, where his musical education was initially started and mostly nurtured by the Northamptonshire Music & Performing Arts Trust. He then spent two years at Chetham’s School of Music before studying for six years at the Royal Academy of Music. He has also spent two years on the Benedetti Foundation’s Ambassador Programme.
Georgina Hamilton is an acoustic and electric cellist based in London, recognised for her performances throughout the UK and globally. Receiving her training on a scholarship at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, she is more than equipped to make your dream project a reality through her artistry. Georgina performs for functions and sessions on studio records and video, as well as on stages worldwide with emerging and established artists and bands. Her ability spans a wide range of styles, including classical, pop, folk, improvisational music, Ibiza music, and more, with nothing off-limits. Georgina made her concerto debut aged 21, performing Elgar’s famous cello concerto with Cardiff Chamber Orchestra. Over the years, she has performed alongside star soloists and artists such as Sienna Spiro, Kathryn Jenkins, Anna Lapwood, Abel Selaocoe, and more. Georgina’s talents have been enjoyed by audiences worldwide, including at several iconic venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Stadium, St Martin-in-the-Fields, TROXY, Sony Pictures Studios (Los Angeles), Metropolis Studios, and reaching as far as Kuwait to the British and Kuwaiti Embassies (sponsored by Jaguar and Bentley).
