Acclaimed for his sensitivity, poetry and creativity, Hong Kong pianist and artist Stanley Wong presents Speech after long silence featuring profound masterpieces by Bach, Schubert, Chopin, Howard Blake and Polina Nazaykinskaya, taking the listener on a rewarding, moving and highly absorbing musical and emotional journey.

Deemed as "with poetic soul, radiating love, warmth, strong and subtle emotion. The true artist of keyboard", Stanley Wong is a versatile and maverick musician based in Hong Kong who has made a career championing new music as well as a bold interpretor of challenging works from the Baroque to Romantic era.
Stanley has performed internationally including Kadriorg Art Museum, Palace in Tallinn, Estonia, Villa Ammende in Pärnu, Tokyo in Japan, Taiwan, China and SE Asia, and has been invited and appeared as soloist in numerous music festivals including Dragonix Multi-Arts Festival by City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong, “John Cage 100 Musicircus” by Hong Kong New Music Ensemble, Bach Keyboard Concerto with Hong Kong Community Philharmonic Orchestra and Lunchtime Concert series in Chinese University of Hong Kong. His performances have been broadcast on HK Radio 4.
His concerts are known for thoughtful and innovative programming which often features art fusion between music and poetry, visual arts and dance as well as revealing significant interconnections with living composers including countless premiere of works by Alla Borzova, Karen Tanaka, Alexander Peskanov, Lei Liang, Augusta Read Thomas, Polina Nazaykinskaya, Elisenda Fabregas, Carol Worthey, Vivian Adelberg Rudow, Judith Lang Zaimont and more.
In 2015, Stanley launched the “Wonderland 150” project (an artistic celebration of 150th anniversary of the publication of Alice in Wonderland) featuring 14 commissioned new piano works specially corresponding to each chapter of the book by 14 notable composers worldwide. The world-premiere was given by Stanley in Hong Kong followed by continuous concert tours in ShenZhen and Taiwan.
Since 2013, Stanley has been the artistic director of the Sparkling Piano Concert series in Hong Kong. He has also been a jury member for the BMTG Intercontinental Music Competition in USA and Tallinn (European) Piano & Choral Olympics Competition. Besides music, Stanley is also a photographer, visual artist and art curator for many children’s art exhibitions and photography exhibit.
