Join Mezzo Soprano Sophie Clarke with special guests Ravi Nathwani (classical guitar) and Lewis Kingsley-Peart (piano) for a magical evening of your favourite Christmas songs, carols and stories by candlelight at the intimate 1901 Arts Club. Featuring White Christmas, O Holy Night, Driving Home For Christmas, Silent Night and many more of your favourites!
This concert promises a warm, joyful celebration of the season, blending much-loved carols, timeless Christmas classics, and a sprinkling of festive humour for an unforgettable night. A bar service is available with complimentary mince pies served at the end of the performance. |

Praised for her “beautiful story telling” and “touching performances”, Sophie Clarke has entered the theatre and music industry with thousands of loyal listeners and a line of successful solo performances in venues such as the Royal Festival Hall, Cadogan Hall, Bridgewater Hall and St. George’s Hanover Square in London’s West End.
She has charmed audiences as a soloist with London Concertante Orchestra on their West End Musicals UK and Ireland Tour, and for summer 2025 she joined the National Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company at Buxton Opera House. During her time at the Royal Northern College of Music, Sophie was the winner of the Patricia Routledge National English Song Competition. In addition to a busy stage career, Sophie’s videos and recordings have been played and streamed over 4 million times across 120 different countries including her latest Christmas Album ‘At Christmas Time’. She has been featured on various UK, European and US Radio Stations including BBC and iHeartRadio, taking interviews in both English and Spanish, and she has also performed on music television programmes for BBC One and ITV. Her social media presence is ever growing with her selection of music videos, behind the scenes and music history videos. |
Ravi Nathwani |

Ravi Nathwani is an exciting young British Asian guitarist from Reading. He completed both his undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the Royal Northern College of Music under the tutelage of internationally renowned guitarist Craig Ogden. He has performed at prestigious venues including the Wigmore Hall, Bridgewater Hall and the Stoller Hall.
Ravi has been the recipient of a Help Musicians UK Postgraduate Award and is currently on the International Guitar Foundation’s Young Artist Programme. Ravi has performed in masterclasses with some of the world’s leading guitarists including Zoran Dukic, Sean Shibe, Tilman Hoppstock, Laura Snowden and Stephen Goss. Ravi became the first guitarist to be a member of RNCM Songsters; an auditioned group of predominantly singers and pianists specialising in performing art song around the UK. |
Lewis Kingsley-Peart |

Lewis Kingsley Peart enjoys a busy life as a working musician: organising projects as both soloist and collaborator, he programmes a wide variety of music from the traditional classical canon, right through to jazz and the avant-garde. With a strong background in theatre, his appearances are never without verve. In March of this year Lewis played Beethoven's "Emperor" concerto with the Angel Orchestra, and in April he gave the world premiere of Stephen Montague's "Scherzo in the Vienna Woods" - a new work that Lewis commissioned for solo piano. Highlights of the 2024 season included two performances of Grieg's Piano Concerto, and also his European debut with two solo recitals in Lanzarote. Lewis is a Chethams School of Music alumnus and graduate of London's Trinity Laban Conservatoire where he studied with Philip Fowke and Alisdair Hogarth.
