Meeting Space - the perfect Board Room and more

1901 Arts Club is an elegant venue that can be hired exclusively by individuals, groups and organisations for a multitude of purposes.  
We are happy to tailor packages to suit your individual requirements.  Discounts are available for charities and young/emerging artists.

The three main spaces of 1901 Arts Club offer a variety of options for meetings, seminars, away-days, training sessions or small conferences.  The spaces can be hired by the hour for meetings and workshops, individually or in combination.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the building (included in your hire).  We also have two flipcharts with paper/markers available for your use.

Ground floor - Salon

  • open versatile space 
  • 10m x 3.5m
  • capacity for up to 45 people theatre-style (or up to 20 people at a long board room table, or separate round tables)
  • HD Ultra-short throw projector available for hire
  • Steinway grand piano (model C) is the only permanent item in the room.
  • natural light from front bay window and side window
  • adjustable (dimmable) lighting, and standard lamps
  • Wi-Fi
  • 2 flipcharts with paper and markers
  • First floor bar and lounge and/or second floor meeting room may be hired as a breakout space
  • Refreshments available (see below)

Salon - ground floor

First floor - Lounge and bar

  • Comfortable and relaxed seating arrangement of sofas and armchairs around coffee tables
  • 8.5m x 4.5m 
  • Capacity for up to 19 (or more if using upholstered cubes) in conversation clusters, or for up to 15 in an open oval arrangement 
  • natural light from front bay window and side windows
  • adjustable (dimmable) lighting
  • exclusive use
  • perfect for a more relaxed alternative for away-days, smaller brainstorming or discussion groups within the one room, or hired as a breakout space for the Salon

Lounge - first floor

Second floor - Meeting room

  • A comfortable yet more traditional boardroom atmosphere
  • 4.5m x 3.5m
  • accommodates 8 people around a large solid table
  • telephone connection is available for conference calls
  • natural light from large windows on two walls 
  • adjustable (dimmable) lighting
  • Wi-Fi
  • 2 flipcharts with paper and markers
  • May be hired as a breakout space for the other rooms
  • Refreshments available (see below)

A minimum of 4 hours applies to weekend bookings.  Discounts are available for charities and young/emerging artists.  Prices are subject to VAT.  Please confirm rates at time of booking.

We can also provide delegate refreshments (a selection of Fair-trade teas, cafetiere coffee, bottled water and biscuits) for £3.50 + VAT per person per half day.  Lunch catering can be arranged to suit your tastes and budget.  We are a licensed venue so we are also able to provide a selection of alcoholic drinks with catering at 1901 Arts Club (please see the attached bar list).
