Charlie-Jade Jones is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music and will graduate from the Royal College of Music in 2024. She made her debut with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra in Anything Goes - A 50th Anniversary Celebration of Cole Porter at Cadogan Hall, and most recently starred in the European Premiere of Marc Blitzstein’s No For An Answer at the Arcola Theatre as part of the Grimeborn Opera Festival. Previous credits include the 10th Anniversary of Howard Goodall’s Love Story at Cadogan Hall, the Symphonic Premier of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s State Fair at Cadogan Hall, the 5* Immersive Revival of Jason Robert Brown’s Parade at Frogmore Papermill, the Thursford Christmas Spectacular and MasterVoices New York 2020 virtual production of Adam Guettel’s Myths and Hymns. Charlie-Jade made her recital debut at St Mary Le Strand, and her show The Soprano Behind The Screen was featured by Elaine Paige on her BBC Radio 2 show EP On Sunday during a sold out London run. As a session singer, she has recorded at Abby Road and Angel Studios, and she has been part of outreach projects with Opera Holland Park, and the Lyric Hammersmith.
In addition to her work on-stage, Charlie-Jade is an experienced and sought-after singing teacher and performance coach. She is currently completing an MSc Performance Science at the Royal College of Music where her research areas cross performance psychology and performers health and well-being, focusing on intervention practices for the physical health and psychological well-being of performing artists. She holds a Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music in Singing Teaching with Distinction, a Certificate in Performance Coaching accredited by the British Psychological Society and has completed observations in NHS voice clinic. She is a singing teacher at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts where she works with BA Musical Theatre and BA Actor Musician students, and holds the position of Associate Tutor for Singing and Music at LAMDA. She is also the external specialist teacher of Musical Theatre Voice for Royal Holloway, University of London and is the founder and director of The Practice by Charlie-Jade, a voice and well-being training space for professional singers. |
Tim Evans |
Timothy Evans was born in Auckland, New Zealand and completed a piano performance degree with First Class Honours in 1996 at the University of Auckland where he studied with Bryan Sayer.
Timothy has been based in London since 2004 where he has worked on the West End productions of Gone With The Wind, Marguerite, Mary Poppins, Chicago, The Drowsy Chaperone, Legally Blonde, Love Never Dies and An American In Paris as well as the UK tours of Legally Blonde, Oliver! and Les Misérables. Timothy currently works on both Les Misérables (the original version at the Queen’s Theatre, the concert version at the Gielgud Theatre and, now, the new version at the Sondheim Theatre) and Matilda in the West End. Timothy is also very involved with training the next generation of musical theatre performers. He currently works at ArtsEd and has also worked at Guildford School Of Acting (GSA), Mountview Academy Of Theatre Arts, Trinity Laban Musical Theatre Department and Emil Dale Academy (EDA). Timothy has performed twice in the presence of His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales and has performed with both the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra. Timothy has performed at all the major concert venues in New Zealand as well as at the Sydney Opera House, Carnegie Hall in New York and at leading London concert venues including the Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Festival Hall and the Barbican. Timothy has also been Musical Director and pianist for international classical crossover artist Hayley Westenra since 2009. He has toured the UK with Hayley four times as well as accompanying her on multiple tours of Japan, Taiwan, China, the USA and New Zealand. |
